Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, April 12, 1979, page D5, column 5 Robert Cummings Robert P. Cummings, 80, geologist who had owned Alhambra Garage on Grand Avenue from 1920 until retiring in 1970, died April 10, 1979, in Phoenix Veterans Hospital Mr. Cummings, 2430 Grand Avenue, came to Phoenix in 1912 from Colorado and was a World War 1 veteran. He owned the Copper Creek Mine near Prescott and was known in the mining industry in Tucson and other Arizona communities. Survivors include his wife, Lucile T.; children, Ruth Ann and Robert, Jr.; and five grandchildren. Services will be at noon Saturday in A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary, 333 W. Adams. |
