B.B. Densford, Jr. a resident of Fountain Hills for 18 years, passed away Nov. 17, 2007 after a long journey with Alzheimer’s. He was born the only child of Bulis B. Densford, Sr. and Dorothy Terry Densford on March 26, 2930 in Memphis, Tenn. He was a graduate of Columbia Military Academy in Columbia, Tenn. He served as deacon at McLean Baptist Church. He was member of the Imperial Council of the Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine for North America. He umpired in the Jackson, Miss. Little League program. He also officiated in the Mississippi conferences for baseball and football high school and college. He was a well known member of the business community in Scottsdale for more than 12 years. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mrs. Audrey Felts Densford originally of Jackson, Miss. and a current resident of Fountain Hills. He is also survived by his daughter, Mrs. Beth Jones of Memphis, Tenn.; and sons, James T. Densford of Jacksonville, Fla., David C. Densford of Atlanta Ga. and W. Keith Densford of Southaven, Miss. He has nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his aunts Mrs. Madie Holcomb of Memphis and Mrs. Lydia Campbell of Atlanta. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m. at Desert Canyon Golf Club, Fountain Hills. Rev. Dorie Gerber will officiate. The family is requesting memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Research in Arizona, in memory of B.B. Densford, Jr., P.O. Box 17712, Fountain Hills, AZ 85269. Fountain Hills Times November 21, 2007. |
