Jackie Dauer

Jackie Dauer, a member and former president of the Fountain Hills Chapter of the Family History Society of Arizona, passed away on Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 in Fort Wayne, Allentown County, Indiana.

Jackie was also a member of the Four Peaks Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).

Jackie was an art teacher on Long Island, N.Y. where she met her husband, Al Dauer. Jackie and Al came to Arizona in 1995 after their retirement. They resided in Rio Verde.

Jackie was a very energetic and health conscious person who was very active and enjoyed her daily walks. However, while on her morning walk on Wednesday she had breathing problems. She went to the doctor and triple bypass surgery was scheduled for Saturday. Her heart would not start again causing kidney failure. Jackie never woke from surgery.

Jackie will be buried alongside her parents in Allentown County, Ind.
