Published in Today's News Herald on Aug. 16, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - John W. Paulson passed away peacefully with his family around him on August 4th, 2018. He was born to Archie and Cecil Paulson on February 22, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was proud to serve his country as a Marine from September 1958-Septeber 1964. John was a general contractor and had a passion for designing and building. He lived most of his life in California. Then in 1991 he and his wife, Sharon decided to make their favorite vacation spot home in Lake Havasu City. John loved the outdoors, boating, motorcycles, sand rails, camping and was an avid animal lover. His family was his first priority always. He is survived by the love of his life for 33 years Sharon Paulson. Sons Michael (Cindy), Jason (Jennifer), Jeremy, daughter Candy (Lynn). Grandchildren John Wesley, Jonathon Kaitlyn, Alyssa, Macy, and Madison. Great grandsons Liam, Hunter along with many other loved ones. And his fur babies. Donations can be made to Hospice of Havasu and the Humane Society. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
