Eleanor Mae (Siegele) Klotzbach

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Eleanor Mae Klotzbach, known as Ele, went to be with the Lord on Aug.
9, 2018. She was born May 28, 1926 in McGregor, Iowa to Carl and Hazel
Siegele. She married Willard W. Klotzbach.

Bill and Eleanor moved from Iowa City, Iowa, with their two daughters,
to Lake Havasu City in 1966. Eleanor was employed by the LHUSD #1 as
an instructional assistant from 1971-1992.

Eleanor was a very active member of the first church in Havasu, First
Southern Baptist Church. Her church membership, involvement and love
for the Lord included teaching God's cord, singing in the church
choir, dedicated attendance and faithful service.

Eleanor enjoyed the surroundings and activities Havasu had to offer,
such as hiking, swimming, beachcombing, viewing the sunsets. She
frequently commented on the beauty of the mountains, palm tree and
beach landscapes. Her 52 years of residence in Havasu and her love for
living here prompted her interest in becoming a member of Pioneers of
Havasu. She enjoyed getting together with other pioneer friends and
families.

She was a faithful, loving and compassionate wife, mother, grandmother
and great-grandmother. Eleanor will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Francis Klotzbach,
and her husband Willard W. Klotzbach.

Her survivors include daughters Lori Jackson and Lynee (Dave) Torres
of Havasu, grandchildren Ara (Jessie)Briley of Chandler, Ali (Alex)
Ruiz of Carterville, Illinois; Alisha (Joshua Doyle) Simons of Havasu;
Kara Simons of Havasu, great-grandchildren Emma, Ella, Alea, Alissa,
Alejandro, Hailee, Harlee and Raiden plus several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service in Eleanor's honor will be at a later date.
Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
