| Worcester Telegram & Gazette (Massachusetts) Wednesday, August 15, 2018 Robert "Bobby" D. Coleman Jr. (1946 - 2018) Cottage Grove--Robert "Bobby" D. Coleman Jr. of Cottage Grove, died on July 30 of cancer. He was 72. He was born in Worcester, MA on January 1, 1946, to parents Robert Coleman, Sr. and Alice (Baird) Suski. He graduated from Tantasqua Regional High School. He served with the Marines, 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines during the Vietnam War. Bobby worked for over 30 years in the Aerospace industry until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, and especially enjoyed his family. He earned the Vietnam Service medal, the National Defense Service medal, the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm Frond, a Combat Action Ribbon, and a Purple Heart. Bobby married Sharon Arellano on June 15, 1968 in Antioch, CA. He later married Janis Shandley on July 2, 1983 in Mesa, AZ, who later died. He is survived by his spouse, Lou Anne Coleman of Cottage Grove; daughter, Priscilla Hughes; sons, Mike Bobince, and Jeffrey Coleman; daughters, Shanna Vaux, Michelle Garcia, and Pamela Harris; sisters, Patty Corey and Anne Robertson, both of Worcester, MA; 13 grandchildren and another one on the way. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Coleman. A Celebration of Life will be held in Black Canyon City, AZ at a date to be determined. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org. Arrangements are in the care of Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove, OR.
