Arizona Daily Sun - March 23, 2005 - Pasquale "Pat" Labriola, 85, of Flagstaff, died Monday, March 21, 2005. He was born in southern Italy on Jan. 1, 1920, to Dan and Lucy Labriola. His family came to the United States in 1930. He was raised in Blue Island, Ill. He served in the U.S. Air Corp during World War II. After the war, he worked in a steel factory until starting his first restaurant in 1946. In 1961, he relocated his family to Phoenix, later moving to northern Arizona to be closer to family. He was an entrepreneur, owning, operating and selling several restaurants. He also invested in real estate. He enjoyed shooting pool, golf and cooking. He is survived by his wife, Emily; son and daughter-in-law Dan and Kathryn Labriola; daughter and son-in-law Peggy and Jack Butler; brothers, Mike Labriola, Joseph Labriola, Anthony Labriola and James Labriola; and three grandsons. Graveside services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Havasu Memorial Garden Cemetery, in Lake Havasu. Arrangements are by Norvel Owens Mortuary. See Also: Find A Grave |
