James "Jim" Figueroa, 64, died Monday, May 25, 2009, at his home in Vernon. He was born Aug. 5, 1944, in Phoenix to Oscar Gregory Figueroa and Laura L. Valenzuela. He was retired from the plumbing supply industry. He was very much loved by everyone. He enjoyed fishing, wood working, cooking enchilada casserole and spending time with his family and friends. Jim is survived by his wife, Marilyn Figueroa of Vernon; sons James Michael (Jennifer) Figueroa of Maricopa and Mark Gregory (Monica) Figueroa of Queen Creek; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; stepson Adam McCormack; and one sister, Irene Lopez of Vernon. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Raymond Figueroa. A memorial service was held Saturday, May 30, at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper Ave., in Gilbert.
