Colleen Lois Staudinger, 61, of Greeley, CO, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2008 at her home. She was born August 5, 1946 in Ute, IA to Cliff and Elsie (Kepp) Aronson. She married Jim Staudinger on October 12, 1968 in Greeley. She lived in the Greeley area most her life and attended schools in Galeton, Eaton and graduated from Eaton High School in 1964. Colleen worked at State Farm and Greeley Producers for many years. She loved the rodeo and was a barrel racer and traveled all over rodeoing. She enjoyed helping at the Weld County Fair and was very involved in her children's school activities and sports functions. She loved riding in the street rods that they owned and built, and she also loved people. She is survived by her husband, Jim Staudinger of Greeley; mother, Elsie Aronson of Payson, AZ; sons, Troy Staudinger and wife, Natasha and Ty Staudinger, both of Greeley; brother, Dick Aronson and sister, Karen Aronson of Tolleson, AZ; sister, Marsha (sic: Marcia) Aronson of Payson, AZ; numerous brothers-in-law; grandchildren, Kodey and Kaylee Staudinger of Greeley; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at Allnutt Funeral Service/Macy Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care in care of Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th Street, Greeley, CO 80631.
