Dewey Virgil Snyder

Dewey L. (sic) Snyder, 69, recently died at his home at the Swastika Mine in Mayer. He was born Sept. 10, 1922, in Mount Vernon Mo., to Dolphus Bovell Snyder and Julia Belle Early Snyder.

Mr. Snyder worked as a truck driver. He moved to Arizona from California in 1948 and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Phoenix.

He is survived by his sons, John Snyder of Mohave Valley, Ariz., Virgil Snyder of Mayer, and Leon and Lester Snyder, both of Phoenix; two sisters, Gladys Ritchie of Downey, Calif., and Vera Thompson of Banning, Calif.; two brothers, Dwight Snyder of Downey and Donald Snyder of Canada; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

There will be no services.

Hampton Funeral Home made arrangements.
