| Nina Steele Gardner died May 15, 2009, in Mesa. She was born Nov. 9, 1929, in Lakeside, the daughter of Ralph Harvey and Helene Fish Gardner. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The wife of the late Ernest Arthur Steele of Mesa is survived by three daughters, Brenda Udall and Linda Steele-Green, both of Mesa, and Marjory Skousen of Seattle, Wash.; son Guy Steele of St. George, Utah; three brothers, Harvey Gardner of Page, Duane Gardner of Lakeside and Glen Gardner of St. Johns; sister Sherry Thomas of Las Vegas, Nev.; and 16 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 21, at the Mesa East Stake Center, 2228 E. Brown Road in Mesa. Internment at the Lakeside Cemetery Friday, May 22, 2009.
