| Published in Today's News-Herald on Dec. 13, 2018 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Joyce Marie Sayre, 83, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away on December 3, 2018. She was born to Roy and Viola Hillis on February 12, 1935 in Willard, Ohio. Joyce married her true love, Leroy Allen Sayre, on April 17, 1954 in Angola, Indiana. They have enjoyed 64 years together. Joyce worked in the accounting department for various defense related companies in southern California. She and Leroy “retired” and moved to Lake Havasu City 21 years ago. She loved spending time with her family and her two poodles “Jacque” and “Jeanette” until their passing. She was a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents; Roy and Viola Hillis. She is survived by her husband; Leroy Sayre, sons; Jeffrey (Vicki) and Brian (Dawn) Sayre, brother; Loren (Carol) Hillis, sister; Rhonda Montgomery, grandchildren; Tanya (Brian), Jason (Christine), Brian, Crystal, Sirena, Dustin and Colton and great-grandchildren; Elise, Tyler, Brooke, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation in Joyce's name be made to: Hospice of Havasu, P.O. Box 597, Lake Havasu City, Arizona 86403-0597, Memo: Polidori House.
