Elisha Hill, Mayer, Dies During Night

Elisha Hill, 73, resident of Mayer practically all of his life, died sometime Monday night in his home in the little town, the results of an illness of long duration, though he had refused to be attended by a physician.

The body was brought to the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home Tuesday. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.

Survivors include Mrs. A. W. Marshall of this city, a niece, a sister, Mrs. Mary E. (Eliza) Wells of Mayer; another niece, Mrs. Warren E. Davis of Mayer, who ran for Yavapai county school superintendent last election; and two brothers, Elonzo Hill of Mayer and Edwin Hill of (Stockton) Calif.

Mr. Hill was born in Wisconsin and resided in Arizona since 9 ir 10 years old. He never was married.

Note: Burial was in the Citizen's Cemetery, Prescott, Az. in an unmarked grave.
