Philip A. Whitten, Sr.

Born in Sentinal, Oklahoma on July 7, 1920.
Departed on Feb. 3, 2008 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Philip A. Whitten, Sr., 87, of Camp Verde died February 3, 2008. He was born July 7, 1920 in Sentinal, Oklahoma, the son of George and Lela Mae Whitten.

He was a graduate of Omaha, Nebraska schools and worked as a maintenance supervisor. He was an Army veteran.

He will be remembered as a great father, husband and granddad.

His first wife of 58 and a half years, Betty preceded him in death.

He leaves his wife of six and a half years, Carmen Whitten; two sons, Kenneth R. Whitten, wife Scherrie, Kingman, Ariz. and Philip A. Whitten, Jr., wife Marion, Willow Creek, Calif.; a daughter, Patricia Morrell of Ramona, Calif.; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
