Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, August 7, 1923, page 1, column 4 Another Miner Is Found Dead Frank Vigna, 75 Years Old, Victim of Tuberculosis; Relatives in California Another sudden death was reported last night, when Coroner Ted Ross was summoned to the Moner's home, on North Cortez street, where Frank Vigna had been found dead. Vigna died, according to the coroner's findings, from miner's tuberculosis. Vigna was about 50 years old and had been employed as a miner. Little is known of the man, who was an Italian, in this city. Several letters, written in Italian, were found addressed to him from Stockton, California, and an effort will be made to communicate with the writers, believed to be relatives. The man was penniless when found and possessed but few personal belongings. Coroner Ross decided that no inquest was necessary, and the body was ordered removed to the Ruffner funeral parlors. Transcriber's note: Mr. Vigna is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
