Mara Cirulis, 64, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away Friday, December 23, 2005.

She was born in the country of Latvia on August 11, 1941 to Janis and Alma Cirulis.

She attended and graduated from the Ohio State University receiving her Bachelor's of Fine Arts.

Mara was nationally recognized for her artistic talents, and she displayed those talents anywhere from a commercial level of advertising to displaying and selling her art pieces at the Nellie Bly Shop in Jerome, Arizona where she worked for several years.

She loved painting, reading, spending time with her family, friends and her dogs.

She leaves behind her friends in the Verde Valley area and one cousin, Harry Zibners and his wife Brenda of Carmichael, Calif.

In memory of Mara, contributions can be made to the Jerome Humane Society, where Mara worked as a volunteer.
