Published in Today's News-Herald on Jan. 21, 2019 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Dennis Arden Levie, husband, father, son, brother and friend, was born Sept. 14, 1950 in Salt Lake City to Arden Eugene Levie and the late Margaret Ruth Mecham. On the morning of Jan. 9, 2019, Dennis was called home to his Heavenly Father after suffering a major heart attack. He is survived by his father Arden Levie and his four siblings, Judy Goodsell, Pam Bennett, Greg Levie and Ken Levie. He is also survived by his wife of 46 years and true love, Linda Passey. They are proud parents to nine children: Melanie Madsen (Jeff), Allen Levie (Martha), Jana Corless (David), Kimberly Andersen (Todd), Aaron Levie (Kiri), Christi Rogers (Clifton), Grant Levie, Scott Levie (KelsiJo), and Thomas Levie (Emily). They have been blessed with 36 wonderful grandchildren. Dennis graduated from Sunnyslope High School in Phoenix. He attended Brigham Young University and spent the majority of his life in Phoenix and Lake Havasu City, before moving to Orem, Utah where he was living at the time of his death. His life was honored and celebrated at a funeral service in Orem, Utah. |
