Set Funeral Rite Of Elinzo Hill

Funeral services for Elonzo Hill, aged 83, who died in the Lawrence Memorial hospital in Cottonwood Friday, will be held at the Lester Ruffner Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. The services, which will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Franklin Parker, will be followed by burial in the family plot in the Citizens cemetery.

Mr. Hill, who was born in Carson City, Nevada, had lived in Arizona for about 70 years, the greater part of the time in and around Mayer, where he followed ranching and mining.

He is survived by a son and daughter who adresses are unknown, also a sister, who resided in Mayer.

Elonzo Hill Laid To Rest Wednesday

Last rites for Elonzo Hill of Mayer were read at the Lester Ruffner chapel Wednesday afternoon by the Reverend Charles Franklin Parker. Burial was in Citizen's cemetery.

Hill died at the Lawrence Memorial hospital last Saturday. He had lived in the Mayer district, where he had mining interests, for many years. He was born in California, January 7, 1863. Principal survivors are his son, Leonard Newell, of Oakdale, Calif., and his daughter, Myrtie Hill Ferrin of Cottonwood. Mr. and Mrs. Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Ferrin were here for the services.

Note: There is no headstone notine Mr. Hill's burial site.
