Born in Chicago, Illinois on Dec. 5, 1941.
Departed on Feb. 5, 2008 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Roberta L. Peterson, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at the age of 66. She was born December 5, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Michael and Mildred (Kiesling) Klimke.

Roberta graduated from Chaffey High School in 1960; after which she received her AA Degree from Chaffey College in 1965. Professionally, she has worked for Del Taco, Graco Company, and as a librarian-specifically in the children's area; which she loved.

Roberta loved her role as a homemaker as well, and found much joy in hobbies such as sewing, and gardening. She also enjoyed reading and traveling by RV.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Roberta leaves behind her loving husband and friend of almost 42 years, Jeffrey Peterson of Cottonwood; their son, Michael Peterson, wife, Alesha, Riverside, Calif.; their daughter, Juli Peterson, Hesperia, Calif.; her sister, Marcia Tipton, husband, Anthony, Huntingtown, Md.; and two adored grandchildren, Samantha and Paige.

A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Roberta on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Verde Baptist Church in Cottonwood; where Roberta was proud to be a member.
