Alylene N. (Timbrook) Brown

Alylene N. Brown (nee: Timbrook), 93, of Lebanon, Ohio died Thursday, May 28, 2009. She was born Sept. 26, 1915 in Owensboro, Ky. to James and Myra (nee: Patterson) Brown.

Formerly of Fountain Hills, 1976-99, she returned to Ohio and was a member of the Lebanon Otterbein United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star for more than 60 years, a member of the Phillipsburg United Methodist Church for 43 years, Clayton Grandmothers’ Club for 20 years, a Scottsdale Memorial Hospital volunteer for 14 years and she provided more than 300 hand made angel gowns for stillborn infants.

Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and three sisters, survivors include her husband of 75 years, Forrest Brown, of Lebanon, Ohio; sons, F. Nelson Brown of Vandalia, Ohio and Charles Brown (Cathie) of West Milton, Ohio; daughters, Judith Ann Fetters (Roger) of Laura, Ohio, and Mary Jo Roy (Jim) of Fountain Hills; 12 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, June 3, at the Lebanon Otterbein Community Chapel, Lebanon, Ohio.
