Robert Roy Kimmel, 80, of Fountain Hills passed away May 27, 2009. He was born March 13, 1929 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he was raised. He joined the Air Force at age18 and served four years. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison as an undergraduate followed by a law degree. His long and fulfilling career included working with the United States Department of Agriculture in Washington D.C., Allis Chalmers in Wisconsin, and retiring with International Multifoods in Minnesota. Later in life he went on to serve as general counsel with privately held Genesis Corp. He learned to fly in 1947 at age 16. He was a longtime commercial rated pilot and instructor. He had passion for fishing and the outdoors. He had a deep commitment to Bible study and teaching. His participation as an active Rotarian gathered many friends. He is survived by the love of his life and wife, Paula, of 54 wonderful years; his three children, Daniel and wife, Suzanne, of Sacramento, Calif.; with grandchildren, Andrew and Ryan; daughter Susan and husband, Howard, of Denver, Colo. with grandchildren, Matthew and Amanda; and a son, Bobby, of Los Angeles, Calif.
