Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, August 17, 1910, page 6.2 McCabe Miner Found Dead In His Bed (From Friday's Daily) Under the auspices of McCabe Union, Western Federation of Miners, the remains of Harry Jardine, found dead in his room in McCabe, Wednesday evening, were laid to rest yesterday afternoon in the W.F.M. cemetery at McCabe, in the presence of a large number of the residents of Big Bug. Harry Jardine was 44 years old, and a native of England. He was a member of Globe Union. He came to McCabe about three months ago and was employed up to the time of his death in the Lelan mine. Surviving he leaves his father, on sister and one brother, residing in his native country. His death is deeply regretted by all who knew him, as he was a young man of exemplary habits and very popular. Immediately after the discovery of the body Justice of the Peace David Foley summoned a coroner's jury, which returned a verdict that dece3ased came to his death from natural causes.
