|Obituary - Pearl Brown 92 Years old|
Former Willcox and Bowie resident, Pearl Brown, of Tucson, died Thursday, Oct 25, 1995. She was 92. She was born in Arkansas on June 29, 1903 to Amy Tatum and Charles Jones.
She married Jim Brown and had lived in Arizona since 1938, living in the Willcox/Bowie area since 1960.
Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Brown in 1971, one son Leroy Brown, and one daughter Jane Stock.
She is survived by three daughters, Jean Nelson of Marana, Joan Howe
of Springfield, Ore, and Sandra Hall; one son, Dennis Vanderpool of Truth or Consequences, NM; one brother Chub Jones of Colorado, 19 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
The funeral for Pearl Brown was held at Dos Cabezas Pioneer Cemetery, Sunday, Oct 29 at 1:30 pm. Reverend Albert Faulk officiated at the service, and burial followed in the cemetery.
