Born in Mishongnovi Village, Arizona on Dec. 15, 1932.
Departed on July 20, 2006 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona.

Aaron Ray Poseyesva, age 73, resident of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2006 at his home with his family by his side. Aaron was born on December 15, 1932 in Mishongnovi Village, Arizona to Raymond and Verna (Mike) Poseyesva.

Aaron worked as a Journeyman in 1971, and later became self-employed as a handyman. Aaaron loved carving and also found additional income by carving Katchina Dolls.

Aaron is preceded in death by his wife Susan Elaine Kinsey Poseyesva.

He leaves behind two sons, Philbert Poseyesva, wife Elizabeth, Kykotsmovi, Ariz., and Lambert Poseyesva of Second Mesa, Ariz.; seven daughters, Lydia Poseyesva, husband Malcolm, and Rosella Poseyesva, husband Roxie, all of Second Mesa, Ariz., Doreen Poseyesva, Jackie Sunkens of Camp Verde, Ariz., Elaine Dalton, husband Dean, Camp Verde, Ariz., Carmen Poseyesva, husband Daniel, and Marquitta Poseyesva, husband Daniel, all of Clarkdale, Ariz.; two brothers, Manual Poseyesva of Tuba City, Ariz., and Ray John Poseyesva, wife Marilyn, Hotevilla, Ariz.; two sisters, Sarah Miguel, husband Louie, and Gertrude Polacca, all of Second Mesa, Ariz.; as well as, 30 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held in Mishongnovi Village-Second Mesa, Arizona on Friday, July 22, 2006, honoring a traditional Hopi burial.
