Mildred Bird, 98, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006. Mildred was born in Fort Collins, Colorado on March 8, 1908 to George and Maryann (Neese) Baker.

Mildred was a high school graduate of Sacramento, California, and she attended Beauty College in Santa Monica, California.

Mildred was a member of the One in Christ Church. She enjoyed camping, sewing and spending time with her family. She also directed swimming aqua cade.

Mildred leaves behind three daughters, Lovel Munday, husband David, Cottonwood, Ariz., Patsy Crandall, husband Dick, Dewey, Ariz. and Jody Sands, husband Earl, Cottonwood, Ariz.; she also leaves behind 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
