Charlene (Napper) Nightwine

Dr. Charlene A. Nightwine, daughter of Janet A. and Maxwell D. Napper of Casper, WY died January 5, 1996 at her home in Phoenix, Arizona.

Dr. Nightwine was born Nov. 28, 1941 in Greybull. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1959, from the University of Wyoming in 1963, received her Master's Degree from UW in 1964 and her doctorate degree in phsychology from Northern Arizona University in 1985. She held teaching positions at Valley City, North Dakota, Casper College, Central Arizona College in Coolidge, Northern Arizona University, Mesa Community College, and was the school phsychologist in the Paradise Valley, Arizona School District from 1978-1991. She also maintained a private counseling service.

Dr. Nightwine held the title of Miss Casper in 1959, and was a member of the National Association of School Phsychologists, Arizona State Mental Health Association, and the Arizona Branch of the National Epilepsy Society.

She married William H. Nightwine in 1964. She is survived by her mother and one sister, Sharon Negley (Bill) of North Platte, Nebraska.
