Frances M. (Mayfield) Pruitt - Murray

Born in Hillsboro, Texas on March 8, 1914
Departed on Aug. 5, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Frances M. Murray, 93, of Cottonwood died August , 2007. She was born March 8, 1914 in Hillsboro, Texas, the daughter of Charles A. and Elizabeth (Finch) Mayfield.

A graduate of Waco High School, she served with US Army Signal Corps. She later worked for Cocoa-Cola Bottling Company.

She attended Mountain View United Methodist Church and enjoyed card games (especially bridge), needlework, reading and bible study. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren lovingly called her "Bam".

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Mabry Pruitt and Paul C. Murray.

Mrs. Murray is survived by a daughter Linda Robins, husband Ted, Clarkdale; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

No public services are planned.
