William was born on June 27, 1936 to Eric and Emily Hedin in Jackson, Michigan. William was preceded in death by his parents; Eric and Emily Hedin, daughter; Debbie and brothers; Eric, Carl and George. He leaves behind his loving wife of 33 years; Beverly, children; William Jr., Teresa and Tracie, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
