The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona July 2, 2003 Louis R. Bogardy, 83, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on June 30, 2003. Born in Amherst, Ohio, he moved to Arizona 13 years ago. He was a Merchant Marine during WWII and a supervisor for the Ford Motor Company. Louis was a member of the Men's Club at St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by wife, Helen of Scottsdale; daughter, Natalie Scott (Kenneth) of Scottsdale; granddaughter, Sara Scott; and several nieces and nephews. Sisters, Elsie Zuba, Margaret Sackett, Helen Ashyk, Barbara Dellinger and brothers, Frank and Elmer preceded him in death. Funeral Mass was Thursday, July 3, 2003 at St. Patrick's Church. 10815 N. 84th St., Scottsdale, AZ 85260. Family suggests contributions to St. Patrick's Church or the Mayo Foundation, 5777 E. Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85054. Arrangements by Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale, AZ.
