Sally Janssen

Sally passed to her beloved Savior on May 5, 2015. Sally arrived in
Minneapolis in 1935, the second of 4 children born to Elmer and Alice
Johnson.

Sally attended West High School and the University of Minnesota in
Minneapolis, MN and Bellevue College in Bellevue, WA.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John, daughters Stephanie
(husband Walter), Christine (husband Robert), son James (wife
Cynthia), grandchildren Kathryn, Haley, Kiley, Connor, and a sister,
Mary. Sally made homes and lifelong friends in Minneapolis, St.
Louis, Seattle and Scottsdale.

She considered motherhood a sacred trust, her grandchildren sublime
gifts, friends as treasures and living in the United States of
America a gift from God. Child raising completed, Sally traveled
extensively for pleasure and the family business, forging friendships
on five continents.

Her activities included tennis, golf, bridge and hospital volunteer
work. As a deeply Christian wife, mother and grandmother, loyal
friend and ardent patriot, Sally Janssen's life has truly made a
difference.

A funeral mass was held at St. Maria Goretti Church, May 14, 2015 in
Scottsdale, AZ.

Burial followed at All Souls Cemetery, Cottonwood, Arizona.
Contributions can be made to Hospice of the Valley , 1510 E. Flower
St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
