Stenobrey Covin Born in Aberdeen, Mississippi on Dec. 16, 1919. Departed on Jan. 12, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Stenobrey Covin, 87, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2007. He was born on December 16, 1919 in Aberdeen, Mississippi. Stenobrey served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy, and continued to serve until his retirement as a non-commissioned Officer. Following his retirement from the Navy, he worked for the State of California for ten years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Covin; and his son, David Covin. Stenobrey leaves behind his grandson, Josh Covin; and his daughter-in-law, Cindy Covin both of Cottonwood, Arizona. A Visitation, with military honors, will be held at Westcott Funeral Home, in Cottonwood, on Friday, January 19, 2007 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Stenobrey will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Cave Creek.
