| Raul Sedillos Ogas, 57, of Safford passed away May 31, 2009. He was born Dec. 1, 1951, to Ramon V. and Tomasa S. Ogas in Safford. Raul was known around New Mexico and Arizona for his musical talent and his burritos. He loved music and most of all playing his guitar. Raul is survived by his sons, Raul D. (R.D.) (Teri) Ogas and Thomas B. (Bernie) (Marjorie) Ogas; daughter, Veronica (Juan) Ogas; 10 grandchildren: Gregory, Nathan, Jacob, Tessa, Bryan, Destinee, Angel, Juan, Brenden and Reyanna; four brothers; four sisters and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Valentine Ogas, Arthuro Chavez and Richard Ogas, and his father, Ramon V. Ogas. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 6, 2009, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. A viewing and rosary was held Friday, June 5, at the St. Rose of Lima. Raul was laid to rest at Safford Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Published on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in The Eastern Arizona Courier, Safford, AZ.
