Born in 1935, Faith grew up on the East Coast of the United States and there developed her taste for everything seafood. Her polished manners were developed while attending girls' schools back East, then rounded out with a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.

This education afforded her a position working for the Hubble Space Telescope program in NASA, at Mt. View, Calif., and her memorabilia includes treasures that have been flown into space aboard the space shuttle.

Extremely independent, Faith traveled the world, mostly alone, during her middle-aged years in search of beautiful music and fine food.

Upon retiring in 2000 from Cisco Systems, Faith moved to Prescott, Ariz., and built her dream home with a view. She immersed herself into her lifelong hobby of the culinary arts and joined the local chapter of the American Culinary Federation (ACF). An active member, she hosted many a dinner party and introduced people to scrumptious cuisine from around the world, with a personal mission of expanding people's palates.

Faith died Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2009, under hospice care in Prescott after a relatively brief yet bitter battle with cancer and its method of treatment. She had donated her body to science in order to continue to serve mankind.

She is succeeded and will be missed by a various bouquet of friends who had come to know and love her for the insight that she shed on so many lives. A Fourth of July celebration of life is anticipated in her honor, as she recently talked about hosting this event again, as usual, this year. She fully expected to be there, and perhaps she will.
