Waldron W. Cox, of Wickenburg, died at Boswell Hospital in Sun City on July 22.

He was 81.

Born in Louisville, Nebraska, he was a journeyman pipe fitter by profession. He had resided in Wickenburg for six years.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge on Guam, and the Islam Shrine in San Francisco.

Survivors include his wife V. Marion Cox, Wickenburg; three sons, Jack W. Cox, California, Guy M. Cox, California, and Guy W. Cox, Washington; and two daughters, Gwen S. Elliot, California, and Valerie Klube, Washington.

Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church on July 26. Pastor Sam Weinschenk officiated. Interment was in Wickenburg Cemetery.
