Andrew Earl Hassler, 68, passed away on Christmas in his home in Wickenburg, Arizona.

He was born in Texas City, TX on October 18, 1951. He was the son of Fred Hassler and Doris (Ma) Bohannon. He graduated from Palo Verde High School in Tucson, AZ. He was a loving Dad and Grandfather, a mentor/coach to many young men in the Arcadia neighborhood, and beloved friend. He was a former Major League baseball player, pitching for 14 years with six different teams.

He enjoyed spending time with his close friends and family. He will forever be remembered for his kindness and friendly demeanor. An extremely humble and sincere man that touched countless lives with his humane generosity and understanding nature.

Andy was preceded in death by his father Fred Hassler, mother Doris (Ma) Bohannon, and sister Charlotte.

He is survived by his lifetime best friend Debbie Wines, his two proud sons, Drew Hassler and his wife Chelsea Hassler, and Derek Hassler. His two dear grandchildren Dillon Hassler and Peyton Hassler who he cherished. Brother Fred (Butch) Hassler. Sister Nancy Paulus. Nieces and nephews.
