Cathleene S. (Carrier) Lowe peacefully entered the presence of our Lord on June 6, 2009, in Prescott. She was born in Saulk Prairie, Wis., Aug. 4, 1929, to Fredrick P. and Lucile I. (Hoover) Carrier.

She is now united with her loving husband, William T. Lowe (1929-1979). She enjoyed more than five decades of a loving close-knit family: Randy (Susan), P.D. "Chip," Sara Ryden (Mike), four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cathie exemplified Jesus to others through caring and compassionate acts. As a member of the first graduating class of the Yavapai Community College nursing program, she went on to serve the Yavapai Community Hospital and in later years as a VA nurse in both Prescott and Tucson.

Cathie's unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was the essence of her life. Her inner and outer beauty was shown through a life lived graciously and eloquently.

A graduation ceremony will be held in her honor Saturday, 10 a.m. May 13, 2009, at Willow Winds Care Home, 3191 Aster Dr., in Prescott.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Yavapai Humane Society 1625 Sundog Ranch Road, Prescott, Ariz., 86301, or the Alzheimer's Association, Northern Arizona Chapter, 225 Grove Ave, Prescott, Ariz., 86301.
