| Courier Press (Evansville, Indiana) Sunday, December 8, 2019 Evansville, Ind.--Brenda Lee (Hunt) Padgett, 68, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at Parkview Care Center. Brenda was born in Washington, Pennsylvania on September 9, 1951 to Vernon and Patty (Rasel) Hunt. She volunteered at House of Bread and Peace for over 10 years. Brenda enjoyed reading and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Brenda is survived by her mother, Patty Hunt Bertelson of Evansville, IN; sister, Karen Staley (Terry) of Wickenburg, AZ; brothers, Vernon Hunt (Diane Angermeier) of Evansville, IN and David Hunt (Lynn) of Evansville, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenzo Padgett; her father, Vernon Hunt; and a niece Ashlie Hunt. A celebration of Brenda's life will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Private entombment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
