9/6/1935 - 6/12/2009

Bill Turner, Billy to his friends, passed peacefully Friday evening into the waiting arms of his wife Patsy.

Bill was born and raised in San Diego, Calif. He met Patsy Rayzor in high school and they were married soon after. They moved to the then remote area of Jamol in the far-east county of San Diego to raise their family in a more wholesome setting.

After years in the construction industry, Bill got his own contractors license and opened business as Turner & Sons Construction. He immediately began earning a reputation for building quality custom homes.

In 1991, Bill and Patsy moved to Prescott Valley. Together they successfully owned and operated Turner Custom Homes, building homes throughout the Prescott Valley area. Bill retired two years ago to care for his ailing Patsy, who passed last August.

Bill is survived by his children, William Paul Turner, Jeffrey Lee Turner and Diana Louise Turner O'Rourke; his daughters-in-law, Terri Turner and Carol Conner-Turner; and grandchildren, Patsy Nicole Turner, Jessica Conner, Jeremy Turner, Joseph Turner and Jonathan Turner; brothers, Robert Turner and Jerry Turner.

As per their request, Bill and Patsy's ashes, as well as those of their beloved pets Fazon and FiFi, will be scattered by their children in the desert between California and Arizona.

A remembrance will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the Prescott Valley Elks Lodge.

So long Billy, you were greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
