Daily Courier (Prescott, Arizona) Sunday, March 15, 1995, p. 10A Harle died on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Pineview Adult Care Home in Prescott, Arizona. She was born July 29, 1931, in Donnelly, Minnesota, daughter of Lajla and Harold Gaarder. Harle was 88 years old. Harle married Allan M. Eliason on January 12, 1952 and they had two children, Alden (Eli) and Renee. Harle and Allan spent much of their married life involved in mission work and served as missionaries in New Zealand from 1960-1963. Harle provided unfailing support and encouragement to Allan as the wife of a Pastor and Missionary for many years. In 1986, Harle founded Global Outreach, Inc., a non-profit mission organization. This mission ministry began with trips to Mexico, but over the years has grown exponentially and now provides Christian love and compassion to thousands of orphans, widows and pastors in several developing nations around the globe. While in New Zealand, Harle took art lessons and it soon became apparent that she had been blessed with a special artistic ability. Many of her paintings have won prizes and have been recognized in art shows throughout Arizona. Harle is survived by two children, a son, Eli Eliason and his wife, Celeste of San Diego, California; daughter, Renee Reed and her husband, Bill of Orange Beach, Alabama; grandchildren, David, Julie, Kim and Andy and five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Vera, William, Alena, and Anna. Harle spent her last nine years as a resident in Pineview Adult Care Home, where she received wonderful care. A Celebration of Harle's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16, 2020, at Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 South Cortez Street in Prescott.
