Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Fort Worth, Texas) Monday, December 4, 2006, p. B8 BEDFORD--Clarence "Ty" Drorbaugh, 85, a retired Boeing mechanic, passed away peacefully Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at a local health center. Funeral: The family will attend a private service at a later date. Ty was born May 15, 1921, in Mesa, Ariz., the second of four children to Rollie and Ruby Drorbaugh. Ty served in the U.S. Army from September 1940 to November 1945 as a supervisor for repairs and maintenance on military aircraft. He married Betty Jane Bufano on April 5, 1947, and had two children, Nancy and Robert. Ty enjoyed golfing, reading and studying old World War II airplanes. He also enjoyed working in his garden. A special thank you to all at Heartland Health Care Center for the loving care and special attention Ty received while residing with you. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Joe Farwell of Bedford; son, Robert Drorbaugh of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Virginia Rice of Logandale, Nev.; nephews, John Dickenson of Arvada, Colo. and Richard Rice of Paso Robles, Calif. and Michael Drorbaugh; and nieces, Dena Chesnut, Ann Kopra and Christie Walsh.
