Norma L. Hardy Born in Dragon, Utah on Aug. 8, 1921. Departed on May 18, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Norma L. Hardy, 82, of Cottonwood died May 18. She was born August 8, 1921 in Dragon, Utah. She was a graduate of Lewiston High School and retired as an accountant from Yagi Nursing Home. She lived for 20 years in Mendocino in Northern California where she invested in real estate. She came to Cottonwood from Hawaii three months to be with her daughter. Mrs. Hardy enjoyed gardening, wildlife, photography and travel and was known for her great sense of humor. Her husband, Richard Kitcher Hardy preceded her in death. She leaves a daughter, Jody Wheeler of Cottonwood; a stepson, Reef W. Hardy of Los Angeles; two grandchildren, Joseph Wheeler and Daniel Wheeler. Funeral services will be held at the Dodo Mortuary in Hilo, Hawaii. Burial will be in the West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S.
