Robert P. Evans Born in Los Angeles, California on Nov. 22, 1931. Departed on Nov. 20, 2004 and resided in Sedona, Arizona. Bob P. Evans died at home in the loving arms of his family after a long battle with leukemia. Born in Los Angeles, Bob was a pilot for American Airlines for 34 years after serving in the Air Force and National Guard. Residents of Sedona since 1978, Bob and Jane celebrated their 50th anniversary this year. Bob also leaves behind his daughters Julie (Jim) Kauterburger, Cathy (Chris) Evans and Linda (Louie) Evans; and four grandchildren Marc and Shannon Kesler and Aaron and Matt Morehouse. The family is grateful for the support of friends and neighbors, the Sedona Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center and Northern AZ Hospice. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local humane society or Northern AZ Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326. Westcott Funeral Home served the family.
