Albert Lee Blackwell, 50, of Camp Verde died September 20. He was born March 18, 1950 in Florence, Arizona.

His parents Edward & Lola Mae Blackwell, his sister Bessie have gone before. He is survived by foster parent Lucille Williams; his wife, Irene Bell Blackwell; four children and seventeen foster children. He said there is no step or foster behind my childrens names. They, their children and grandchildren are all my children.

He was a Vietnam Vet, good friend and beloved husband, father, brother. He loved traveling, he helped us all move often and wants to be a space traveller now.

He viewed death as a 'graduation'. A private memorial service will be held. His cremeted remains will will be interrred in Dove Creek, Colorado. He lived life fully and was always brave and beloved.
