Born in Hamburg, New York on Feb. 29, 1920.
Departed on Oct. 6, 2004 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona.

Earl Robert (Barney) Barrowman, 84, of Clarkdale, died October 6. He was born February 29, 1920 in Hamburg, New York.

Hewas a graduate of Wooldawn High School in New York.

A World War II veteran, he served with the Coast Guard.

Mr. Barrowman retired from Phoenix Cement Plant. he previously worked as a steel worker with Bethlehem Steel Company in Buffalo, New York.
He was a member of the VFW Post 7400 and the American Legion Post 25. He trained bird dogs, enjoyed camping, hunting, boating, dancing and socializing with his many friends.

His wife, Joyce Elva Barrowman preceded him in death.

He leaves a daughter, Dawn Moffett of Cottonwood; a brother, Glenn Barrowman; a sister, Eileen Saline; and one granddaughter, Sheila Murray.

There are no public services planned.

Donations in his memory may be made to VFW Post 7400, 705 E. Aspen St., Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326 or to American Legion Post 25, 480 S. Calvary Rd., Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
