| Gordon Bisland Duval Born in Houma, La. on May 9, 1907. Departed on April 27, 2004 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona. Gordon Bisland Duval, 96, of Clarkdale, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2004. He was born in Houma, La. on May 19, 1907. Mr. Duvall attended Lawton School in Houma, La.; he graduated from Lake View High School in Chicago, Illinois in 1925 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Princeton University in 1929. He was considered an entrepreneur having invested in the oil and gas fields and in real estate. Mr. Duval was employed as an investment banker at the time of his retirement by J. C Bradford & Co. He enjoyed upland bird hunting, fishing and golf. Mr. Duval is survived by a son: David B. Duval of Del Mar, Calif.; a daughter: Carol D. Farmer of Clarkdale, Ariz.; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn. Westcott Funeral Home is asssisting the family with private services. Memorial donations may be sent to St. Matthews Episcopal Church in Houma, La. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
