Mischele R. Riggins, 43, loving wife and mother peacefully passed away December 9, 2000. Born in Corry, Pennsylvania to Mark S. and Virginia M. Harvey, Mishele moved to Arizona in 1976 to attend Arizona State University.

With her degree in hand and the love of teaching in her heart, she began her career in the Tempe School District and eventually became a founding member and lead teacher at the Life Enrichment Community School in Chandler, Arizona. In 1984, she began her life with Donald P. Riggins and shared the following 16 years by his side enjoying their passion for the outdoors and the love of building their family and home. Their beautiful daughters, Ginny Maye, 12 and Emma Kate, 8 completed the family that also included her stepchildren Bradi, 21 and John Ricotta, 20 and granddaughter Jolie Louise, 2 months.

Mischele also shared many happy years with her sisters, Dee Ladd & Sondra Sveda, brother Michael Harvey, Aunt Linda Laurier, uncle Frank Turben & her beloved grandmother Dorothy M. Turben. Surrounded by the love of good friends & many happy times, her 43 years were lived to the fullest & her smile was always the brightest.

A memorial service was held to celebrate this wonderful life on Saturday, December 16, 2000 at the Apache Junction Mortuary, 398 Old West Hwy, Apache Junction, Arizona.
