Jack Alan Williams, Sr.

Born in Napa Valley, California on Aug. 25, 1941.
Departed on Dec. 19, 2005 and resided in Cornville, Arizona.

Jack A. Williams, Sr., 64, of Cornville, Arizona, passed away Monday, December 19, 2005. He was born to Wilbur and Emma Williams on August 25, 1941, in Napa Valley, Calif., where he spent his youth and graduated from the Napa Valley High School.

Jack was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a truck driver for Consolidated Freightways, and later became owner and operator of J.A.W.S. Trucking. After 35 years of dedicated employment in the trucking industry, Jack retired.

He also loved hunting and fishing, and was considered quite an outdoorsman.

Jack is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Lois M. Williams, his brother, Dean; two sisters, Catherine and Rene, and his parents, Harold and Emma (Johnston) Williams.

Jack leaves behind four sons; Jerry Williams, Jim Williams both of Cornville, Ariz., David Williams of Cottonwood, Ariz. and Jack Williams Jr. of Smithton, Penn.; three brothers, Jim T. Williams, Harold Williams and Henry Johnston; two sisters, Ellen and Ruth; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave in Cottonwood, Ariz.
