Born in Marshalltown, Iowa on July 24, 1914.

George L. Williams, 89, a resident of Sedona died November 9. He was born July 24, 1914 in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Mr. Williams was a retired entrepreneur in manufacturing. He was a member of the Sedona United Methodist Church the Elks and the Grace United Methodist Church in Marshalltown, Iowa.

He leaves his wife, Doris Williams; three daughters, Judith Cameron and Linda York, both of Marshalltown, Ia. and Helen Claussen of McCook Lake, S.D.; three sons, Paul Williams of Marshalltown, Ia., Tom Williams of Memphis, Tenn. and John Williams of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Robert Williams of Marshalltown, Ia.; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held November 11 in the Sedona United Methodist Church.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Sedona United Methodist Church, 110 Indian Cliffs Rd., Sedona, Arizona, 86336.
