Edward Fredrick Miller, Jr., 80, resident of Lake Montezuma passed away at home, on Friday, August 17, 2007. He was born in Williams, Arizona on May 11, 1927 to Edward and Theresa (Madril) Miller.

Edward was a Veteran of the United States Army, and a retired cement mason. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of the Verde Valley. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and helping others.

He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandpa and friend.

Edward leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Caroline Miller, Lake Montezuma, Ariz.; son Edward Fredrick Miller, III, wife, Renee, Hilton Head, S.C.; his daughter, Helene E. Schaffer, husband, Robert, Prescott, Ariz.; three brothers, Karl Miller, wife, Carol, Wickenburg, Ariz., William Miller, wife, Phyllis, Show Low, Ariz., and Oswald Miller, wife, Gwen, Sun City West, Ariz. Also surviving him are three grandchildren.

A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church of the Verde Valley, 2021 East Fir Street, Cottonwood, Arizona, 86326; where contributions are requested to be sent. Contributions may also be sent to RTA Hospice, 70 Bell Rock Plaza, Suite A, Sedona, Arizona, 86351.
