BARNETTE, Lee A. Survived by sisters, Nelle Heuloth, Mrs. Ethel Johnson, Mrs. Alice Whadford, Ivy Wolley and brother JW Barnette. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 1:00 p.m. today at the Arizona Funeral Home Chapel, 376 N. 3rd Ave. with graveside services 3:30 p.m. at the Wickenburg Cemetery. Born Aug. 4, 1897, passed away Oct. 20, 1979. The family were pioneers of Arizona, born on a ranch near Globe before Miami was built. He was Chief of Police of Wickenburg & Constable for over 7 years, was with the FBI Security at the Government Bomber Base in Tucson & the purchasing agent & auditor for the Florence Prison in 1940, appointed by Gov. Sid Osborn.
